Description

The surge of cases of Ebola had a serious impact on the healthcare system in West Africa. Many people in the areas hit hard with Ebola cases also had cases of HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. Due to the healthcare systems being overwhelmed with Ebola cases, many of these other afflictions were unable to be treated properly, resulting in additional deaths. This infographic gives information on the additional impact Ebola had.
