Dr. Carol Rao, an epidemiologist in CDC's Division of Global Health Protection, reviews her career and describes in detail her contributions to CDC's 2014-16 Ebola response. Dr. Rao deployed twice to Sierra Leone, first as an infection prevention specialist, then as a regulatory liaison for the Sierra Leone Trial to Introduce a Vaccine against Ebola (STRIVE). Dr. Rao also discusses her work advising China's Ebola response in Sierra Leone.
