Description

Dr. Kevin M. De Cock, director of the Kenya office of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, provides a bit of personal background and then describes his role in CDC's 2014-16 Ebola epidemic response. In 2014 and 2015, Dr. De Cock rotated in and out as CDC's lead in Liberia and spent some time consulting with CDC's team in Sierra Leone. In 2016, he deployed to Guinea to help with that country's final cluster of cases.
